This nationally recognised course provides participants with the chief skills required to act in the role of Chief Warden during a workplace event/incident. It covers how to make decisions about the employees safety during a workplace emergency and trains participants in how to give instructions for responding to the emergency incident.
The key areas covered by this course include:
- Preparing for workplace emergencies
- Communicating and coordinating workplace emergency procedures
- Controlling the response to emergency reports, signals and warnings
- Coordinating reports and results of the initial emergency response
- Concluding an incident
Introduction:
Prior to enrolling in this course, students must have successfully completed PUAFER005 – Operate as part of an emergency control organisation.
Target Audience:
Chief Fire Warden training applies to members of an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) who are floor or area wardens and/or wardens or deputy wardens.
