This First aid training course is designed to give students the necessary practical and theoretical knowledge they need to confidently apply First aid and CPR in a range of situations. The delivery of this training includes but is not limited to the below:
- Allergic reactions
- Anaphylaxis
- Asthma
- Basic wound care
- Non-life-threatening and life-threatening bleeding
- Burns
- Shock
- Cardiac arrest
- Envenomation – all current treatments
- Eye injuries
- Fractures, dislocations, strains and sprains
- Poisoning
- Recognise and assess an emergency situation
- Ensure safety for self, bystanders and casualty
- Provide first aid in accordance with established first aid principles
- Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with ARC guidelines.

Provide first aid training is suitable for the general public or anyone that may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
