This course has been designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to identify relevant exclusion zones, manage associated hazards and work safely on or near electrical network infrastructure.
Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, participant’s will be able to:

Low Voltage Rescue CPR
LVR CPR_2023
The LVR or low voltage rescue training course component of this training covers the skills and knowledge required for a person to be able to carry out a risk assessment of an electrically hazardous situation and confidently perform low voltage rescue procedures without hazard to themselves or others.
The CPR component of this training covers both theoretical and practical aspects of providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines, including however not limited to the below:
- Recognise an emergency situation
- Manage risks to the health and safety of self and others
- Assess the casualty and recognise the need for CPR
- Seek assistance from emergency response services
- Display respectful behaviour towards casualty
- Operate Automated External Defibrillator (AED) according to manufacturer’s Instructions
- Accurately convey incident details to emergency response services
- Report details of incident to workplace supervisor as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information in line with statutory and/or organisational policies.
Remove Asbestos (Class B)

This course covers the necessary skills and knowledge required to safely and competently remove non-friable asbestos to industry, workplace health and safety and Australian Standards.
This course includes but is not limited to planning & preparation, hazard identification, assessment, control & review, selecting and using safety equipment, isolating the removal area and working safely to remove asbestos, decontaminate the area, clean up the work site and complete the required documentation.

WEED_2023
This Weed and Seed / inspection course covers the skills and knowledge required to inspect and clean machinery or material that may contribute to the spread of weeds, pests or diseases.
It is carried out under routine supervision within enterprise guidelines and training will include the examination of different areas on machinery and equipment, record and issues that pose a risk dispose of waste and infected material or weeds.
This training will include however is not limited to the below:
- Select the equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and location of site for cleaning
- Prepare to inspect and clean machinery and vehicles
- Apply safe work practices in the context of own work
- Dispose of waste materials
- Record cleaning history and inspection results
- Types of contamination
- Ways in which weeds, pests and soil borne diseases can be spread by machinery and equipment
- Cleaning techniques appropriate to machinery, vehicles and types of contaminant
- Safe work practices associated with inspecting and cleaning machinery
- Methods of disposing of solid and liquid waste
- Procedures for completing forms and delivery of reports.

The course consists of both theoretical and practical components, and the participants will be assessed on their knowledge and performance through written and oral tests, demonstrations and observations. Upon successful completion of the course, the participants will receive a statement of attainment that is nationally recognised and valid for three years.
